Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of CoinMap, including the iOS app and coin-map.com. By creating an account or using CoinMap, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

CoinMap helps you identify coins from photos, save them to a collection, and see them on a world map. Identification is generated by automated tools and may be incomplete or wrong. Treat results as a starting point, not as an appraisal or professional opinion.

Accounts

You can sign up with email, Sign in with Apple, or Google. You are responsible for activity on your account. Keep your password private. You may delete your account in the app. Deletion removes your profile, collection, and stored photos from our systems. App Store subscriptions are billed by Apple and stay active until you cancel them in Settings.

Acceptable use

Use CoinMap for personal collecting. Do not try to break the service, scrape it, upload content you do not have the right to use, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or other users.

Photos and collection data

You keep rights to photos you upload. You grant us permission to store and process them so we can identify coins and show your collection. Do not upload photos of people or other private material that is unrelated to coins.

Subscriptions and purchases

Optional Pro features are sold as in-app purchases through Apple. Pricing, billing, and refunds follow Apple's terms. Free use may include daily scan limits.

Our content

The CoinMap name, logo, app, and site design belong to us. You may not copy or redistribute the app except as Apple's terms allow.

Disclaimer

CoinMap is provided as is. We do not warrant that identification will be accurate, that the service will always be available, or that estimated values are market prices. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for lost data, missed collecting opportunities, or indirect damages arising from use of the app.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. The date at the top of this page is the latest version.
