Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of CoinMap, including the iOS app and coin-map.com. By creating an account or using CoinMap, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

CoinMap helps you identify coins from photos, save them to a collection, and see them on a world map, and compare collections with other collectors. Identifications and estimated values are generated by a third-party AI service, Google Gemini, and may be incomplete or wrong. Treat results as a starting point, not as an appraisal or professional opinion, and have a qualified dealer or grader check a coin before you buy, sell, or insure it.

Accounts

You must be at least 13 to use CoinMap. You can sign up with email, Sign in with Apple, or Google. You are responsible for activity on your account. Keep your password private. You may delete your account in the app. Deletion removes your profile, collection, and stored photos from our systems. App Store subscriptions are billed by Apple and stay active until you cancel them in Settings.

Acceptable use

Use CoinMap for personal collecting. Do not try to break the service, scrape it, upload content you do not have the right to use, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or other users.

Community rules

Display names, usernames, profile photos, and coin photos can be seen by other collectors. CoinMap has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Do not post or upload anything that is:

• sexual, pornographic, violent, hateful, or discriminatory
• threatening, harassing, or bullying
• an impersonation of someone else, or someone else's private information
• spam, a scam, or an offer to sell something through your profile
• illegal, or something you do not have the right to share

To report a user or content, email info@bllekholl.com with the username and what you saw. We aim to review reports within 24 hours. We remove content that breaks these rules and may suspend or permanently remove the accounts responsible.

Photos and collection data

You keep rights to photos you upload. You grant us permission to store and process them, send coin photos to our AI provider, and show your profile and collection to other collectors according to your privacy settings. Scans should show coins only. A profile photo may show you, but do not upload photos of other people without their permission, or any other private material.

Subscriptions and purchases

CoinMap Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription, sold monthly or yearly through Apple as an in-app purchase. The price and billing period are shown before you confirm. The yearly plan may include a free trial for eligible users. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before a trial or billing period ends, your subscription renews and Apple charges your account.

You can manage or cancel Pro in iOS Settings, under your Apple Account, then Subscriptions. Deleting the app or your CoinMap account does not cancel it. Billing and refunds follow Apple's terms. Free use may include daily scan limits and a limited map trial.

The iOS app is also licensed to you under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement.

Our content

The CoinMap name, logo, app, and site design belong to us. You may not copy or redistribute the app except as Apple's terms allow.

Disclaimer

CoinMap is provided as is. We do not warrant that identification will be accurate, that the service will always be available, or that estimated values are market prices. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for lost data, missed collecting opportunities, or indirect damages arising from use of the app.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. The date at the top of this page is the latest version.
