Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 11, 2026
This policy explains what CoinMap collects when you use the iOS app or coin-map.com, and how we use it. If you have questions, email info@bllekholl.com.
What we collect
Depending on how you use CoinMap, we may collect:
- Account details: email address, display name, and a profile photo if you add one.
- Sign-in with Apple or Google: the identifier and email those providers share with us, including a hidden relay email if you choose Hide My Email.
- Collection data: coin details you save, country coverage on the map, and photos of coin obverse and reverse used for identification and your library.
- Scan activity: how many scans you run, so we can apply the free daily limit.
- Purchase status: whether Pro is active, provided by Apple through RevenueCat. We do not receive your full card number.
How we use it
We use this information to run your account, identify coins, store your collection, show the world map, enforce scan limits, restore Pro, and respond to support requests. Coin photos are sent to an identification model so we can return country, year, mint, metal, and similar details.
Where it is stored
Account and collection records are stored with Supabase. Coin and profile photos are stored with Cloudflare R2. Purchases are processed by Apple and RevenueCat. These providers act on our instructions and should not use your data for their own marketing.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your coin photos to advertise to you. We do not require access to your photo library beyond the pictures you choose to upload.
Retention and deletion
We keep account and collection data while your account is open. If you delete your account in the app, we remove your profile, coins, scans, and stored photos. Purchase records needed for accounting or fraud prevention may be kept by Apple. You can also email us to request deletion.
Children
CoinMap is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your choices
You can update your display name and profile photo in the app, sign out, or delete your account. You can manage Sign in with Apple in iOS Settings. For Google, use your Google account permissions.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product changes. The date at the top is the latest version.
